Common questions
How accurate is the estimate?
Build pricing is a ballpark until we scope your project together on a short call. The range is there so you know whether we are in the right neighbourhood before you spend time talking to us. Care plans start the month after launch.
How long does a website take?
It depends on scope and, honestly, on how quickly content and feedback come back from your side. A single landing page is much faster than a multi-page build. We will give you a real timeline on the scoping call, along with exactly what we need from you to hit it.
What if I already have a website?
Then it is usually a redesign rather than a build from scratch, and there is often less work involved. Send us the URL and we will tell you honestly what is worth keeping and what is worth rebuilding.
Do I have to write the content?
No. Copywriting is included in every build. Photography is not, but we will tell you exactly which shots you need and can point you toward a local photographer if you want one.
Do I have to take a care plan?
No. Care plans are optional and you can add one later. Without a plan you will need to arrange your own hosting and handle updates yourself, and any changes you ask us for are billed hourly.
What counts as a minor update?
Small changes to existing pages: text edits, image swaps, updating hours, pricing, or links. New pages, new features, redesigns, content writing, and SEO campaigns are quoted separately.
Am I locked into a contract?
All plans are available month to month, or you can save with a 6- or 12-month term. Plan inclusions don't roll over from one month to the next.
Do I own my website?
Yes. The design, the content, and the code are yours. If you ever want to move it elsewhere or bring maintenance in house, we will hand everything over and help with the transition.
