Frontend help that ships.

We join your team, learn your codebase, and start closing tickets.

Frontend Contracting

Sometimes you don’t need an agency. You need another developer.

Your roadmap is full, hiring takes three months, and the frontend work keeps piling up. That’s the gap we fill.

We’re not here to audit your architecture or hand you a slide deck. We open your repo, read your code, and start picking up tickets. You get an extra frontend engineer for as long as you need one, without the headcount.

What we take on:

  • Feature work – Pick up tickets from your backlog and ship them like any other member of the team
  • Component and design system work – Build or clean up the shared UI layer so the rest of your team moves faster
  • Performance – Bundle size, render cost, Core Web Vitals, the load-time problems nobody has had time to chase
  • Accessibility – Keyboard navigation, screen reader support, and getting real audit findings actually closed
  • The frontend nobody wants – Forms, tables, edge cases, the browser bug that only happens on Safari

What we work in:

TypeScript first, always.

  • Frameworks – React, Vue, Angular, Solid, and Astro. Most of our recent work is React, Astro and Solid, but we’ll work in whatever your team already uses
  • The layer around it – Tailwind, GraphQL and REST, Node, Cloudflare Workers, Turborepo monorepos, Biome, and typed CI
  • Backend – We’re frontend-first, and comfortable in the API layer when a feature needs it. We’ll also tell you when something is better handed to your backend team than bodged in by a contractor

Frameworks are the easy part. What actually transfers is knowing how to read an unfamiliar codebase, match the conventions already in it, and not leave a mess for the people who maintain it after you.

How it works:

We start small. A defined first chunk of work, usually two to four weeks, so you can find out whether we’re useful before committing to anything longer.

We work in your setup. Your repo, your branch strategy, your ticket tracker, your review process. We’re not asking you to change how your team works to accommodate a contractor.

We stay reachable. Your working hours, your Slack, standups if you run them. You should never wonder what we’re doing.

We hand it back clean. Documented, reviewed, and consistent with the code around it. When the engagement ends, your team should be able to pick it up without a handover meeting.

What we need from you:

We do our best work when there’s someone to point us at the right problem. Realistically that means:

  • A repo we can get access to and run locally
  • Someone on your team who can answer questions and review PRs
  • Tickets or a rough scope, even a messy one
  • Some idea of how long you think you need us

Let’s talk.

Tell us what your team is working on, where the frontend is slowing you down, and roughly what timeline you’re looking at. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit, and what it would cost.

If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so.
